About the Ffotographer

Hey, I'm Ffion! (Yes, with two Fs.) It's Welsh, and it's pronounced fee-on.

I was born and raised in Ottawa before moving with my family to New Jersey when I was 11. That first Christmas in the U.S., I was gifted my very first camera—and I haven't put it down since.

Missing Canada, I returned to pursue a degree in Film and Media at Queen's University. Over the years, I've photographed countless friends, worked as an event photographer and served as Head of Photography for a charity fashion show.

Today, I work full-time in Marketing & Social Media while running my photography business on the side. Since launching my freelance business in 2022, I've photographed weddings as both a lead photographer and second shooter, capturing everything from intimate ceremonies to full wedding days. My goal is always the same: to create timeless, authentic images while making you feel comfortable in front of the camera.
